The Iron Ladies 2
Three years after their smash hit film Iron Ladies, queer Asias favorite team players score again with a hilarious sequel (sometimes prequel) that picks up after the originals triumphant National Volleyball Championship. With fame and fortune on their court, it would seem that life could only continue to offer them a perfect score. The celebration is short lived, however, when internal strife and jealousy begin to erode the team spirit. In fact, the bickering has gotten so bad that star player Nong (Giorgio Maiocchi) has defected to a copycat team made up of fake lady-boys and managed by a greedy, unscrupulous promoter. When former teammate Jung (Chaicharn Nimpulsawasdi) learns of the impostor group, she solicits the help of token straight player Chai (Jesdaporn Pholdee) to help pull the rest of the original team back together. What ensues is a campy, comical and sometimes dramatic trip down memory lane, complete with plenty of spikes and digs.
