Cockettes
This feature length documentary chronicles the flamboyant ensemble of hippies (women, gay men and babies) who, decked out in drag and glitter, gave a legendary series of shows in San Francisco during the psychedelic 60s and sexy 70s. With titles like Tinsel Tarts in a Hot Coma, and Pearls Over Shanghai, these all-singing, all-dancing extravaganzas featured elaborate costumes, rebellious sexuality and exuberant chaos.
